Standard Pickup

  • 1 to 2 week wait period before our trucks can pick up your donated items.
  • We can only accept items that fit our donation requirements.
  • All donated items must be on the 1st floor, garage or outside of home.
  • No associated cost.

Priority Pickup

  • Pickups within 48 hours.
  • Any and all items accepted! All eligible items are donated while remaining items are ethically disposed of.
  • Item retrieval from anywhere including within home or a storage unit.
  • Items that require disassembly.
  • Fee reflects the operating costs and is much smaller than a usual moving company or junk hauler fee. (fee is not tax deductible, but donated items are)
  • Service Area also includes all other areas with the Standard Service along with the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area.

SACH Donation Pick Up Service Requirements

  • Thank you for choosing to donate to Sunshine Acres Children’s Home! We greatly appreciate your support! We can enter your home to pick up your donations, but everything must be disconnected, disassembled, and on the first floor.
  • Our drivers will not go up or down any stairs/steps. Items must be brought down before pickup. All items must meet the following criteria for Sunshine Acres to accept.
  • Items in gently used condition, free of damage, contamination, hazardous debris, rips, stains, scratches, and large amounts of hair/fur.
  • NO MATTRESSES OVER 2 YEARS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Driver has final discretion upon pick up date.
  • Follow the online checkout process when tallying the total number of items you need picked up in our accepted catgories. And boxes or bags that are tallied need to be closed and/or tied.
  • Please note, we do not need an itemized list of things that are going into the boxes or the bags, just the items that will not be boxes or bags. If you have any questions about placing your order online, call into our call center and a team member will walk you through your entire order.
  • If any items change from order submission to day of pickup, please contact our call center to ensure your items fit. This does not guarantee that we will be able to include additional items, so please understand you may need to submit a separate pick up order if that is the case.
  • Please make sure to include any gate code, apartment unit number, community name, and two major cross streets to ensure our pick up schedule stays ontime for all donors.
  • Our pick up time frame is 8:00 am - 4 pm. We are unable to give a shorter time frame, you will be notified day of pick up via mobile texting.
  • We greatly appreciate your donation as it supports the children at Sunshine Acres. However, please understand that while we would love to accept all items submitted, our drivers are trained to accept or deny any items that do not fit under our approved criteria.
