Refer a Child to Sunshine Acres
At Sunshine Acres we provide a loving, wholesome, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents and help them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures preparing them for success in adult life.
How Long Do Children Stay?
Initial placement is a minimum of 12 months. Once admitted to Sunshine Acres, a child may stay as long as needed, even through college.
Who We Help:
Boys and girls or all race and background ages 5 though 15 at time of admission. We help children whose families are experiencing:
-Homelessness
-Incarceration
-Challenges with an adopted child or kinship placement
-Chronic or terminal health issues
